PAALS is proud to be selected as one of the charity beneficiaries of the 2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am Golf tournament.
Whether you are an avid golfer, just like to watch golf, want to spend a day in the sun in beautiful surroundings or just want to volunteer to help PAALS help others, the BMW Charity Pro-Am provides an opportunity for you.
Golfers
For the avid golfer (or a business person who has clients who are avid golfers), here is the chance to play a round of golf with a Web.Com Tour professional. You have a choice of three great courses on three different days:
- Thornblade Club (May 14)
- Greenville CC Chanticler (May 15)
- Lake Keowee Reserve (May 16).
In addition to the opportunity to play a great course, each participant will receive
- A chance to win a new BMW
- Meals, snacks and beverages
- A special gift package
- Two clubhouse credentials to the 2013 BMW Charity Pro-Am tournament (May 16-19)
You can register for a twosome for $3,500 or a foursome for $7,000. PAALS receives 50% of the registration fee for your group. For more information and a registration form, please open this document.
Fans
If you like to watch golf pros play, just want to spend some time in the sun on a beautiful golf course or maybe rub shoulders with your favorite celebrity, you can purchase tickets for the BMW Charity Pro-Am tournament. The tournament will be held May 16-19 at the three courses listed above with each course being played on May 16, 17 and 18 and the final round on May 19 at Thornblade. You can purchase a one day pass for $10, a four day pass for $25 and a clubhouse credential four day pass for $50.
100% of the ticket purchase price is donated to PAALS if you select PAALS as your charity affiliation when you purchase your tickets. For more information and directions on purchasing tickets, please open this document.
Volunteers
It takes a lot of people to hold a professional golf tournament and volunteers provide a major part of the effort. Volunteers work during the tournament, but they often get to be “inside the lines” and closer to the pros and celebrities than the fans. It costs $40 to be a volunteer ($50 after 3/29) . Each volunteer will receive
- Volunteer tournament polo shirt
- Volunteer hat (or visor)
- Volunteer pin
- Food and beverages while volunteering.
In addition, each volunteer receives one Patron Credential ($25 value) which grants you access to all of the tournament courses any day you aren’t volunteering. PAALS will receive a donation of $20 per volunteer per day if you select PAALS as your charity affiliation when you register.
