Hello everyone, sorry that I haven’t checked in for a while but I have been having so much fun with all of my PAALS friends that it’s hard to find time to write!!! I don’t want you guys to think that all I do is play…I have been training like crazy as well. I was lucky enough to visit Kershaw County Correctional Institute this past weekend. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous at first but once I found out how nice everyone was and how much I was going to learn I realized I was lucky to be part of such an amazing program!!! I love how PAALS has so many different programs to choose from, it’s going to be a fun summer at PAALS!!!
Hello everyone!!! I just wanted to check in with all of you and let you know what I have been up to for the last couple weeks. I have been super busy learning new PAALS cue’s in my weekly training sessions. I think I have the basic’s down but now I’m trying to learn some newer, more advanced cue’s like going under a table and learning how to “speak” , which is pretty easy for me seeing that all I have to do is bark on command!!! Luckily I have very patient trainers who never get frustrated when I don’t do it right and they have told me that I’m actually a pretty fast learner!!! This past week was bittersweet for me because it was our last PAALS Stress Relief Event at USC for finals week. It’s ok thou because we had tons of fun helping students de-stress before their big tests and I know we will be back in the Fall!!!
