An Opportunity to Learn while Helping
A PAALS internship provides the opportunity to work alongside our employees and volunteers assisting our canines on their journey from puppy to PAALS service dog.
PAALS internships are designed for college students and recent graduates who wish to gain valuable experience working with dogs and individuals with disabilities. These internships will help aspiring service dog trainers, animal care specialists interested in breeding and/or animal management, aspiring marketing and fundraising specialists for nonprofits, and innovative educators to acquire hands-on experience that is a prerequisite to gaining employment in these specialty fields. Summer educators will assist with the preparation and implementation of PAALS integrated service dog camp
Programs are divided into three different internships:
- Animal Care / Veterinary
- Animal Training
- Summer Educators
- Marketing & Fundraising
