My name is Vernon Osborne. I am a disabled 69-year-old U.S. Army veteran. I served in the 101st Airborne Division, which was called the Screaming Eagles. I’ve been approved for a service dog from PAALS.

I’m ecstatic that not only will I get a best friend, but a dog trained to help me with my mobility issues, anxiety, and PTSD.

I’m asking for donations to help pay for team training. Team training is a multi-week training session I will need to attend before getting a dog. In team training, PAALS will teach me everything I need to know about caring for and working with the dog. If I raise anything extra, the money will help PAALS pay for training, boarding and veterinary care.

It can cost up to $40,000 to train each service dog. My goal is to get as many donations as I can for this amazing organization. Please help with what you can. All donations will go directly to PAALS. Many thanks to each and every one of you who donates. God Bless America and you!
